Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements. The term "contemporary" is somewhat misleading: it describes a genre that developed during the mid-20th century and is still very popular today.

Lyrical dance is a dance style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance. The style is usually danced at a faster pace than ballet but not as fast as jazz.

This class is a favorite among many of our students. Ballet is a Classical type of dance. To achieved perfection it requires a serious dancer because of the strict technique and attention.

Latin Dance is a style of dance that consists of different Latin dances such as Salsa, Merengue, Cha-cha-cha, Rumba, Samba, Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Bachata, and Bolero. Originated in Latin America, Puerto Rico and Cuba.
